HOW DOES IT WORK?
Post project opportunities on the Sponsored Projects page detailing the project terms, restrictions, requirements, deadlines, and compensation, if any. Posted projects should also include general guidelines regarding intellectual property and or an MOU that the school (and or student lead) and company must sign.
ArtKôz electronically notifies schools and student members of posted opportunities.
Schools & Students
Schools work with their students to identify how best to engage with the project, i.e.:
- Engage in project as part of “course credit” through an existing class or experiential learning program;
- Engage through a “works for hire” model in which the students create the project based on the provided requirements and the company pays the student (s) directly; or
- Students volunteer their skills and services to complete the project to fulfill required community service hours.
Schools or students submit project proposals to companies through ArtKôz for consideration.
Schools and students work collaboratively offline and on ArtKôz using the project management tools to assign and complete tasks. Once the project has been completed per the company provided specifications, the school or student project lead share a link or file of the project with the respective project sponsor point of contact for review.
Companies Accept Project Submissions
Project submission (s) are accepted by the company and the company works with the schools or student directly to provide compensation or other perk outlined in the original post.
